Project System Engineer (Lead Engineer)

EuroSort develops and builds complete, automated sorting systems for the logistics industry. For our projects, we are looking for a Project System Engineer who, together with the Project Manager, will supervise these projects at a technical level from start to finish.

As a Project System Engineer, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle (from concept to delivery) of your portfolio, coordinating mechanical, electrical, automation (PLC), and software (PC) engineering activities to ultimately deliver the automated sorting systems. You will lead multidisciplinary project teams and monitor technical KPIs. In addition, you will be the central technical point of contact for customers and internal departments.

Through the following activities, you will ensure that EuroSort's projects are brought to a successful conclusion:

• You will coordinate EuroSort's projects from concept to SAT on a technical level

• You will be the central point of contact for internal departments and customers for technical related subjects.

• You monitor the system requirements and technical KPIs of the systems.

• You work closely with the Project Manager to ensure that all processes within the projects run smoothly.

• As a Project System Engineer, you are the primary owner of system-wide safety and CE compliance.

• HBO (higher professional education) level of working and thinking

• Several years of experience in a similar role

• You are proficient in all three disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, and Software (PLC and PC)

• You are familiar with AutoCAD and Inventor. You do not need to be able to draw yourself

• Knowledge of system engineering principles and requirements engineering processes, with experience in 2D layout design and system definition.
