As an Electrical Engineer service, you are the specialist for electrical adjustments to our existing sorting machines.
Job description
You are the technician who doesn't shy away from complex electrical challenges, but prefers working on existing machines rather than new construction. At EuroSort, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer who focuses on refurbishing and optimizing our sorting systems.
As an Electrical Engineer service, you are the specialist for electrical adjustments to our existing sorting machines. You are involved in drafting, modifying, and improving electrical diagrams, based on an existing situation at a customer's site.
So, your work is never standard. You assess the actual condition of a machine and translate this into reliable documentation in E-plan, providing a suitable technical solution. You work closely with other departments such as project and product Engineering, controls, and Supply Chain.
You are mainly based at our headquarters in Geldermalsen, but you are also open to spending about 10 to 20% of your time at the customer's site. This is mainly for assessment and coordination.
Your tasks and responsibilities summarized
Assessing existing installations at customers' sites (in NL and sometimes abroad)
Creating and modifying electrical diagrams in E-plan
Developing electrical solutions for refurbishment projects
Collaborating with other engineers and suppliers for the best solution
Supporting Supply Chain in selecting and evaluating components
Documenting the modifications and ensuring clear revisions
Contributing to process improvements and standardization
Job requirements
Minimum MBO+ level in electrical engineering
Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in a similar technical role
