As a Project Manager at EuroSort, you are responsible for the successful execution of our international customer projects. From the moment a project is handed over by Sales until its final delivery, you are the main point of contact and have overall responsibility for the project.

You ensure that projects are delivered within scope, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while aligning all internal and external stakeholders throughout the entire project lifecycle. You will work in a dynamic international environment where every project brings new technical and organizational challenges.

Our projects range in size and can exceed €5 million, involving complex automated sorting systems that integrate multiple engineering disciplines, including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and software (PLC & PC).

What will you do:

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple international projects simultaneously. Acting as the key link between the customer, internal departments, and external suppliers, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle—from the handover by Sales through to successful delivery.

You will join a team of four Project Managers, reporting to the Head of Project Management. Together, you will work closely with Mechanical, Electrical, PLC and PC Software Engineers, Installation Coordinators, Commissioners, and HSE specialists.

As EuroSort continues to grow, we have introduced the new role of Project Lead Engineer. This role takes ownership of the technical coordination across engineering disciplines, allowing you to focus on customer communication, project planning, budget management, and overall project delivery.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the complete project lifecycle, from Sales handover to final customer acceptance

• Monitor project scope, planning, budget, risks, and quality

• Organize and chair both internal and external project meetings

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project

• Monitor contractual agreements and manage scope changes

• Prepare and manage change orders and additional work proposals

• Coordinate installation and commissioning activities on-site

• Oversee Health & Safety plans in collaboration with the HSE Officer and Installation Coordinators

• Ensure accurate CE documentation and complete project documentation

• Manage the handover of completed projects to the Service & Support department

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Sales-to-Projects handover process (V-model)

• Bachelor's degree (HBO) or equivalent working and thinking level

• At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in a technical environment

• Experience managing customer-facing projects

• Strong technical insight or a technical background

• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Experience managing project budgets and complex technical projects

• Experience in machine building or intralogistics is an advantage

• Knowledge of CE marking and machinery safety is an advantage

• Willingness to travel internationally

• Good command of both Dutch and English (Dutch is preferred)
