Sales Engineer

As a Sales Engineer at EuroSort, you support our Sales Managers with your technical expertise. You analyze customer inquiries, translate them into clear quotations, accurate calculations, and technical input for both customers and colleagues. You collaborate extensively with other departments to ensure that each project is practical and well thought out.

You work alongside a Sales Support Engineer, Layout Engineer, and multiple Sales Managers. As a team, you deliver smart, technically sound, and commercially viable sorting systems to customers both locally and internationally.

Your tasks in a brief overview:

• Technical support to Sales Managers in quotations and customer inquiries

• Analyzing customer data, RFQs, and translating them into solutions

• Preparing budget and detailed calculations

• Aligning planning and expectations with internal departments

• Collaborating with the customer and supporting in technical discussions and concept presentations

• Customer contact, both remote and on-site

• Managing and improving sales documentation and calculation tools

• Contributing to project handover and creating buy-in within the organization

• Occasionally creating 2D & 3D layouts

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar

• 2-5 years of experience in a similar role within mechanical engineering or technical project environment

• Experience with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Good command of Dutch and English language

• You work in a structured manner, easily switch between people and departments, and maintain an overview

• You understand technology, but can also explain it well

• Gross monthly salary between €3,500 and €5,000 depending on knowledge and experience
