Sr. Service Engineer

As a Senior Service Engineer at Eurosort, you will be responsible for performing service and maintenance tasks on our sorting systems, both on-site at the customer and remotely. You will work in an experienced team where collaboration and technical expertise are key. In this role, you ensure that our systems operate at peak performance and contribute to customer satisfaction.

You will be involved in both preventive and corrective maintenance and provide technical support to the service department. Additionally, you will play an active role in drafting maintenance reports and implementing system improvements.

Your Responsibilities:

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on sorting systems

• Troubleshooting mechanical failures and, where possible, electrical and PLC issues

• Commissioning and testing sorting systems on-site

• Coordinating and executing service projects in collaboration with the project manager

• Mentoring and coaching Junior Service Engineers

• Drafting and maintaining maintenance reports and customer documentation

• Participating in the mechanical on-call service

• Actively contributing to R&D projects and service innovations

• Completed MBO degree in Mechanical Engineering (level 4), with HBO working and thinking level

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within machine building or industrial automation

• Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical engineering, and PLCs is a plus

• Customer-oriented, communicative, and professional

• Flexible and willing to travel internationally and work outside regular hours

• Proficient in both Dutch and English, spoken and written

• Possession of a valid driver’s license (B)
