Job description
As an Electrical Installation Coordinator at EuroSort, you are responsible for coordinating projects on-site from the office, ensuring they are executed as efficiently as possible. You are actively involved in every phase of the installations - from preparation to execution and completion - and ensure their realization according to the agreed schedule and arrangements.
In the preparation phase, you gather relevant information from the Electrical Engineer and the Project Manager, check the delivery of ordered goods, and set up a detailed installation plan and schedule. You are also responsible for engaging sufficient Technicians through temp agencies or contract staffing companies.
During the installation itself, you play a crucial coordinating role. You are the daily point of contact for Technicians and Installation Supervisors on site, provide necessary work drawings, instructions, and reporting formats, and closely monitor the progress of the project. Where possible, you also visit project locations in both domestic and international settings. Especially for larger projects, this may mean you spend several consecutive days abroad.
At the end of a project, you perform a thorough check on the delivery and prepare detailed reports. Continuous optimization of work processes is also an important aspect of your role. Finally, you will often manage multiple projects at once, meaning multitasking is very important in this role. It also requires close collaboration with coordinators from other disciplines, such as the Software and Mechanical departments.
You are part of the Projects team. This team consists of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, Installation Coordination, and Commissioning. The components of Installation Coordination and Commissioning are collectively referred to as Realization.
