Job description
As a Senior Field Service Engineer at Eurosort, you will be responsible for performing service and maintenance work on our sorting systems, both on-site at the customer's location and remotely. You will work in an experienced team where collaboration and technical knowledge are key. In this role, you will ensure that our systems continue to perform optimally and contribute to customer satisfaction.

With your knowledge and experience, you will take our team and organization to the next level.
You will also be involved in both preventive and corrective maintenance and support the service department with technical issues. In addition, you will play an active role in drawing up maintenance reports and implementing improvements within our systems.
Your Responsibilities:
Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on sorting systems
Troubleshooting mechanical failures and, where possible, electrical and PLC issues
Commissioning and testing sorting systems on-site
Coordinating and executing service projects in collaboration with the project manager
Mentoring and coaching Junior Service Engineers
Drafting and maintaining maintenance reports and customer documentation
Participating in the mechanical on-call service
Actively contributing to R&D projects and service innovations
Job requirements
Completed MBO degree in Mechanical Engineering (level 4), with HBO working and thinking level
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within machine building or industrial automation
Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical engineering, and PLCs is a plus
Customer-oriented, communicative, and professional
Flexible and willing to travel internationally and work outside regular hours
Proficient in both Dutch and English, spoken and written
Possession of a valid driver’s license (B)
