Job description

As a Senior Service Engineer at EuroSort, you will be responsible for providing service and support to customers to achieve optimal customer satisfaction. You advise customers on follow-up procedures, repairs or inspections and also perform the agreed service work on site.

Before visiting the customer, you review the report from the previous visit. What was fixed then and which parts need extra attention? You also estimate what parts you need and how much time the work will take. Based on all these factors, you prepare a consulting report and quote. The Technical Specialist checks that the parts and numbers are correct before you send the report to the customer.

For customers with a service contract, you make regular visits for periodic maintenance or an inspection. On site, you coordinate the work and help out yourself. The duration of a work visit depends on the customer and the contract, but usually you are busy for two days. EuroSort has many international customers, so you will also regularly be working abroad.

You are part of the Service & Support team, which consists of a Manager, three Back Office Employees, a Technical Specialist, a Planner and five Service Engineers. In particular, you have a lot of contact with the Planner and Technical Specialist to ensure that all work continues to run according to schedule.
