Vacancy
Acquisition based on this advertisement is not appreciated. We usually fill the vacancies ourselves and in exceptional cases we work with preferred suppliers.
As a Proposal Engineer at EuroSort, you are responsible for working out the customer request into a layout of the total system in AutoCAD 2D and/or Inventor. You will use input from the Sales Representative, who will use the created layout as the basis for the quotation to the end customer. You also use the layout for making project calculations. After creating the basic design, you stay involved, make revisions and increase the level of detail of the layout as the sales process gets closer to the final phase.
You work on several projects simultaneously and support the Sales Representatives in the Netherlands, Germany and Spain. If necessary - with the help of the Purchasing Department - you request modules from external suppliers, e.g. compressors, box sealers, strappers and conveyors. You also support the Sales Representatives and the Marketing department by creating sales support materials, such as brochures and materials for trade fairs.
You are part of the Sales Support team in the Marketing and Sales department. Besides you, this team consists of another Proposal Engineer and Sales Representatives in the Netherlands, Germany and Spain. The team is managed by the Commercial Director, who is also your manager.
If you enjoy working on varied projects and liaising with different parties to do this and find it challenging that all processes within the organisation are not yet optimally structured, then this is a job for you.
Working week
On an enjoyable work day, you work on varied issues for a layout and discuss an interesting new project with the Sales Representative.
